 What is relocation depression? Relocation depression, sometimes referred to as relocation adjustment disorder or relocation stress syndrome, is the term used to describe the emotional and psychological difficulties that people may encounter when relocating. Significant environmental changes, such as relocating to a new city, nation, or even just a different neighbourhood, might cause depressive, anxious, or stressed sensations.  What cuses relocation depression? Relocation depression, sometimes referred to as culture shock or relocation stress syndrome, can result from a number of causes: 1.
